The historic Solnice from 1531 now combines a Renaissance hall with a restaurant and its own microbrewery. Beer does not arrive in barrels — it flows through pipes laid seventy metres beneath the square paving straight into the restaurant.
The building from 1531 takes its name from a salt store, though salt was kept here for only about twenty of five hundred years — for most of its history it served as a granary and armoury. Beer runs here through pipes seventy metres under the square from the brewery; no barrels.

The building from 1531 has a Renaissance stepped gable with loopholes. On the façade are stone faces of different sizes — three on the main front and a fourth on the west gable facing the blind arm of the Malše, so anyone who walks only the front finds three. Inside are a restaurant and brewery; beer does not come in barrels but through pipes seventy metres under the square paving.
