Peat bog between Kvilda and Horská Kvilda has only about half a kilometre from a small car park and a viewing tower — ideal short stop when you want Šumava bog without a long hike.
Jezerní slať lies between Kvilda and Horská Kvilda as a short nature stop. NP administration gives a route about 0.5 km, low difficulty, around 30 minutes. From the small car park you first walk sandy track then a wooden boardwalk. A viewing tower is part of the site; steep steps mean the tower itself is not barrier-free.
