A large pond just before Hluboká is a practical short water stop on the way to the chateau; if you stay longer, the official tourist route folds it into an roughly 22 km flat loop around Hluboká.
Bezdrev is the second largest pond in the Czech Republic and for VIVIEN guests mainly practical: it lies by Hluboká and need not be a whole-day trip. Camping Restaurant Bezdrev has a beach, parking and facilities by the water; Hluboká's tourist site also mentions swimming. For more movement you can add the pond to a 22 km walk/cycle on flat terrain.

- If you drive to Hluboká, stop at the publicly accessible part and walk briefly to the water.
- In summer check beach operation and water quality beforehand if you plan to swim.
- For a longer stay use the marked flat route towards Hluboká rather than improvised walking on private shores.
