An roughly one-kilometre trail from Svinná Lada leads on a post-war boardwalk to a large peat lake with floating islets — Šumava wetland without a full-day trek.
Chalupská slať is the opposite of the mountain lakes in this batch: leave the car in Svinná Lada and after a short walk reach the peat lake viewpoint. NP administration gives a route about 1 km, low difficulty. The first 200 metres are rougher asphalt, then a wide wooden walkway over peat bog. The reason to stop is landscape, water and floating peat islets.
