Kuklov joins the torso of a never-finished monastery church in the village with tiny remains of Kuglvajt castle on a rock nearby — best not as a ten-minute stop but as part of a Brložsko loop.
At Kuklov there are really two ruins: high Gothic torso of the unfinished monastery church of St Andrew and, about 100 metres west, small remains of royal castle Kuglvajt. Both are year-round free access. The sites alone are quick, but that misses why we send you here — the particular abandoned mood in Blanský les. 💡 So we list Kuklov as a full-day trip in the roughly 7.2 km Brložsko educational trail.

- First enter the unfinished church space and notice the tall Gothic windows — they define the place.
- Then go to Kuglvajt remains on the rocky rise west of the village.
- If you reserve a day for Kuklov, continue on the educational trail through Brložsko instead of returning straight to the car.
