Extensive terrain remains of castle and outer town above the Lužnice suit a walking day in the river valley — you can drive near the outer town, but arriving on the red from Tábor or continuing towards Bechyně is richer.
Příběnice are not a classic ruin with one dominant tower. In forest above the Lužnice survive a wide castle site, outer town and terrain traces best read on a walk through the land. Visit Tábor gives about 10 km on foot from Tábor on green and red, with option to continue towards Dobronice u Bechyně. An archaeological atlas describes closer approach to a guesthouse below the castle and a short start on yellow marks.
