Quiet ruin on a narrow headland above Římovská nádrž is free year-round; from Sedlec about 1.3 km on foot; a new wooden bridge over the moat now opens the core.
Velešín is among the oldest castles in South Bohemia but on site expect landscape, moat and fragments more than standing palaces. Hrady na Malši built a wooden bridge over the moat so visitors enter the core. Regional tourism lists free year-round access. Practical start from Sedlec; a specialist site gives about 1.3 km on blue marks.
